Clinton Robert Douglas McCoss was born on December 12, 1990, in Montevideo, Minnesota. His parents are David and Terri McCoss and Tim and Tanya McCoss-Yerigan. He was baptized on January 13, 1991, and confirmed May 21, 2006, both at Hazel Run Lutheran Church, Hazel Run, Minnesota. Clint was a sophomore at Yellow Medicine East High School in Granite Falls, Minnesota. He was involved in FFA, wrestling, school newspaper, track, and his church Youth Group. Clint loved swimming, woodworking, fishing, camping, hunting, playing practical jokes, farming and spending time with his family and friends. Clint was passionate about history and looked forward to a career in the military or teaching history. Clint loved life to the fullest and lived every day as though it were his last. He believed life was an adventure and was supposed to be fun. Clint passed away from an accident on Sunday, November 5, 2006, at his home in rural Granite Falls at the age of 15 years, 10 months, and 24 days. He is survived by his parents Tim and Tanya McCoss-Yerigan and David and Terrie McCoss; his sisters and brother, Megan and Garrett McCoss, Kayla and Briana Yerigan, Sherreiea Brown (and fiance Kyle Reiner), Beth (and Corey) Brusven; special family friend Mikey Darville; his grandparents Doug and Karen McCoss, Bob and Sandra Weber, Ray and Carol Yerigan, Jim and Shirley Wolles and Roger and Lucy Lindsey. He is also survived by his great grandmothers Hazel Kise and Berdella Rupp; many aunts, uncles, cousins and his niece, Khloe. Clint is also survived by many friends. Clint was preceded in death by his great grandparents Giles Kise, Vernon Rupp, William and Janette Weber and Louise Nelson and his great uncles Ray Weber and Russell Weber and great aunt Alice Weber. We will miss his big heart, his beautiful smile and his twinkling eyes.
