Clayton Hilman Clemetson, son of Tony and Mabel (Isaacs) Clemetson, was born in Normania Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, on March 16, 1909. He was baptized and confirmed by Pastor Oppedahl at the Hauges Lutheran Church of rural Hazel Run, Minnesota. He was united in marriage to Ellen Rosetter on December 31, 1933. To this union were born two daughters: Patricia (Mrs. Curtis Tjosvold) of North St. Paul, Minnesota, and Harriet (Mrs. Greg Johnson) of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota; one son, Warren of Stirling, New Jersey. He passed away at Mercy Hospital in Anoka, Minnesota, on March 27, 1979, at the age of 70 years. Survivors include his wife Ellen; two daughters, Patricia and Harriet; one son Warren; six grandchildren: Doug, Tim and Kari Tjosvold; Tom and Mike Clemetson and Kim Johnson; and one sister, Alta (Mrs. Andy Anderson).
