Clarice V. Fjerkenstad June 10, 1933 ~ May 2, 2015 Clarice Virginia Bue Larson Fjerkenstad, age 81, of Dawson, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, May 2nd , 2015. Clarice was born on June 10, 1933, to Carl and Clara (Oakland) Bue in Granite Falls, Minnesota. She received her GED in 1981. She was baptized and confirmed at the Lutheran Norwegian Church. Edwin B. Larson Jr. and Clarice Virginia Bue were united in marriage at Granite Falls, Minnesota, on September 2, 1950, until he passed in 2002 . This marriage was blessed with six children: Dian, Judy, Curt, Dean, Lorraine, and Ray. Ed and Clarice farmed near Boyd their entire life. On February 1, 2003, Clarice and Melburne Fjerkenstad were united marriage. She was blessed to have five step children: Jerry, Jim, Sally, Randy and Marcy. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church (serving in the Circle). She enjoyed family camp- outs, crocheting, Seniors, going out to eat, visiting with friends and neighbors and just being with family, especially the grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Eddie; her parents; six brothers and one sister. She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Melburne; and her children and families: Dian (and Lynn) Wiebe of Boyd, Judy (and Dave) Olson of Dawson, Curt of Boyd, Dean (and Brenda) of Corcoran, Minnesota, Lorraine (and Cliff) Estlie of Lino Lakes, Minnesota, and Ray (and Karen) of Bloomington, Minnesota. Also her Step Children: Jerry Fjerkenstad of St Paul, Jim (and Brian Jones) Fjerkenstad, Sally (and David) Stratmoen, Randy (and Julie) Fjerkenstad and Marcy (and Jon) Bork. Also surviving are her grandchildren and great grandchildren (all listed as Casket Bearers and Special Casket Bearers); and sister, Beverly Tatro of Pierz. Blessed be her memory!
