Clarence F. Schulz was born at Boyd, Minnesota, on January 11, 1917, to Reinhardt and Louise (Abramouski) Schulz. Clarence grew up in Boyd and graduated from the Boyd School system. He later lived in Hendricks, Minnesota and Minneapolis, Minnesota. On September 18, 1960 he was united in marriage to Lillian Germolus, at Minneapolis, Minnesota. He farmed several years with his parents and then he became a truck driver in the Minneapolis area. After moving back to the Boyd area in 1973 he became a bus driver for the city of Montevideo, Minnesota, until he retired in 1986, at the age of 69. They then moved to Granite Falls, Minnesota. Clarence loved reading and would read three to four books per week. He liked working on antique cars and making keys. Survivors include his wife, Lillian; daughters: Mrs. Bruce (Phyllis) Wuollet, Mrs. Mike (Leslie) Bauman; grandchildren: Brent and Stacy Wuollet, Rein and Larissa Christensen; Aunts: Elsie Hilden, Marie Hochhalter, Lydia Abramouski; and numerous cousins and other relatives. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, Reinhardt and Louise Schulz and several aunts and uncles.
