Clarence S. Rosetter was born April 28, 1905, in Stony Run Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, the son of Lewis C. and Bertina (Hagen) Rosetter. He was baptized and confirmed at Bergen Lutheran Church. He grew up in Stony Run Township and attended grade school there and graduated from the Morris, Minnesota, Ag School. Clarence married Bertha Henden in Clarkfield, Minnesota, on June 28, 1930. They farmed in Stony Run Township all their lives where they were active in church and community. Clarence was a member of Farm Bureau Association and the Wegdahl Elevator Board. Clarence died Thursday, June 4, 1992, at his home in rural Granite Falls at the age of 87 years. He is survived by his children, Richard and wife Joan Rosetter, Granite Falls, Verna (Mrs. Howard) Patrick, Spicer, Paul and wife Donna Rosetter, San Francisco, California; sisters, Dora Haga, Granite Falls, Orda Engel, Hanley Falls; brother, Lyle Rosetter, Eden Prairie; and grandchildren, Luann and David Rosetter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha; sisters Agnes Eid, Clara Jacobson, Ellen Clemetson; and brothers, Roy and Adolf.
