Obituary

Clarence Olson was born April 30, 1905, at Hanley Falls, Minnesota, to Annon and Annie (Sampson) Olson. He was baptized on May 31, 1905, by Rev. J.D. Runsvold and confirmed in 1917 by Rev. Ole Lokensgaard. He lived in Hanley Falls all his life. On September 28, 1940, he was united in marriage to Sophie E. Jorgenson by Rev. Erickson at Granite Falls, Minnesota. He was employed most of his life as a railroad worker, serving the Minneapolis and St. Louis Railroad, which later became known as the Chicago Northwestern. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and five brothers. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Anna Evenson of Willmar, Minnesota, and a number of nieces and nephews.
