Clarence Elmer Marquardt was born December 29, 1914, in Minnesota, the son of Wilhelm and Ida (Wiegers) Marquardt. He passed away August 25, 1956, near Boyd, Minnesota, the result of a car/freight train accident, at the age of 41 years. Mr. Marquardt is survived by his mother, Mrs. Ida Marquardt of Boyd; brother, Melvin of North Dakota; and two sisters, Mabel (Mrs. William Paap) of Boyd and Elsie (Mrs. Melvin Peterson) of Rapid City, South Dakota.
