Clara Louise Wilhelmenia Koepp was born in Tyro Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, on April 3, 1884, the daughter of Gottlieb and Ernestina (Radtke) Koepp. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. On November 6, 1901, she was united in marriage to Henry R. Rogge. They lived for nearly forty years on the same farm in Tyro Township before moving to Clarkfield, Minnesota, in 1941. Mr. Rogge passed away on September 16, 1954. Mrs. Rogge passed away June 27, 1961, at the home of her son Milburn, of Tyro Township, at the age of 77 years. Four children were born to this union, namely: Lawrence, who died in infancy, Elmer of Eugene, Oregon, Milburn of Tyro Township, and Mrs. Ada Weeks of Phoenix, Arizona. She is also survived by her two daughters-in-law; eight grandchildren; three brothers: Herman, Gottlieb and William and one sister, Martha Reinholt, all of the St. Cloud, Minnesota vicinity; and a host of friends.
