Mrs. Clara Vesta passed away Friday, November 29, 1974, at the Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital at the age of 84 years. She was born March 26, 1890, the daughter of Hans and Johanna (Graffer) Lukken. She was baptized and confirmed in the Trinity Lutheran Church at Boyd, Minnesota. She trained and worked as a practical nurse in hospitals in Watertown, South Dakota, Madison, Minnesota, and Dekalb, Illinois. On December 3, 1919, she was united in marriage to Louie Vesta and lived at Malta, Illinois. In 1972, they moved to Boyd where she has since lived until six years ago when she moved to Montevideo, Minnesota. She is survived by her son Homer Vesta of Boyd; and two brothers: Albin Lukken and Henry Lukken both of Montevideo; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Louis. IN MEMORY OF MRS.
