Clara Augusta Schlee was born March 4, 1891, in Tyro Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, to Henry and Rosina (Martin) Rogge. She was baptized and confirmed in Zion Lutheran Church of Tyro Township. On February 25, 1915, she was married to Martin Schlee. The couple had three children. Mrs. Schlee passed away December 25, 1978, in Dawson, Minnesota, at the age of 87 years. Survivors include her three children: Roselyn Marquardt of Glenwood, Minnesota, Marvel Skotterud of Dawson, Minnesota, and Harlan (Bud) Schlee of Minneapolis; three grandchildren: Howard Marquardt of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mary Beth Westby of Park Rapids, Minnesota, and Steven Skotterud of Dawson, Minnesota; and two great grandchildren: Jason and Nancy Westby of Park Rapids, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin, in 1962; her parents; and her brothers and sisters. IN MEMORY OF MRS.
