Clara Anna Galow, 78, died September 26, 1987, at the Luther Haven Nursing Home of Montevideo, Minnesota, after a short illness. Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 29, 1987, from St. John's Lutheran Church of Omro Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, with Pastor Jon N. Wolff officiating. Organist was Karen Mamer with Congregational hymns being sung. Casket Bearers were Steven Haugen, Donald Loose, Bradley Ommen, James Peterson, Darrell Streed and Jamey Thompson. Final Resting Place: St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Omro Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota She was born June 25, 1909 in Tyro Township to Henry and Anna (Block) Loose. She was baptised at St. John's Lutheran Church of Omro Township and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church of Tyro Township, Yellow Medicine County. She married Eddie Galow at Zion Lutheran Church of Tyro Township, June 4, 1931. To this union three children were born. She is survived by daughters Darlene (Mrs. Harold Weiss) of Echo, Minnesota and Dorraine (Mrs. Wesley Thompson) of Montevideo; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sisters Ida Roske of Clarkfield and Rose (Mrs. Leonard Eggen) of Clarkfield; brother Ruben of Eugene, Oregon; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eddie Galow; one son in infancy; grandson Daniel; brothers, John, Leonard and Louie.
