Clara Hanson was born in Ten Mile Lake Township, Lac qui Parle County, Minnesota, on February 19, 1886, to parents Steffen and Maria (Larson) Olson. Clara was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Emil S. Hanson and Clara Olson were married on February 24, 1905. To this union four children were born: Sanford of Madison, Minnesota, Mabel of Boyd, Minnesota, Evelyn (Mrs. Perry Eames) of Shakopee, Minnesota, and Obert of Madison, Minnesota. Mrs. Hanson passed away Sunday, September 17, 1978, at the Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital, at the age of 92 years. She is survived by her children; one brother, Martin Olson; three grandsons and four great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband, her parents, three brothers and one sister. IN MEMORY OF MRS.
