Christopher Bernhard Sack was born November 15, 1875, at Mt. Carroll, Iowa, the son of Christopher B. and Elizabeth Sack. He passed away Saturday, June 18, 1960, at Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at 84 years of age. His wife, Bertha, passed away during the flu epidemic in 1919 and he was left alone to bring up his family of seven children. One daughter Lyla (Mrs. Selmer J. Olson) passed away January 31, 1960. Six children survive, namely, Frances, who lived with her father at Boyd, Hazel (Mrs. Carl Nelson) of Clarkfield, Cora (Mrs. Peder Lund) of Wausaw, Wisconsin, Florence (Mrs. Cecil Benton) of Marshall, Minnesota, Helen of Minneapolis and Lyman, twin brother of Lyla, residing in Minneapolis.
