Obituary

Christine Theoline (Olson) Larson was born on April 17, 1897, near Cottonwood, Minnesota. She was the fifth of eight children born to John and Mathilda Olson. She was baptized and confirmed at the Christ Lutheran Church of Cottonwood. On February 13, 1920, she was united in marriage to Harvard Eugene Larson. Christine and Harvard farmed most of their married life in the communities of Cottonwood, Clarkfield and Boyd, Minnesota. Christine lived for many years at Parkview Towers in Montevideo, Minnesota, until entering Luther Haven Nursing Home of Montevideo in 1984, where she passed away on June 16, 1989, at the age of 92. Surviving Christine are her four children and their spouses, LaVonne Molde and husband, Ingmar of Montevideo, Rev. Calvin Larson and wife, Agnes of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Marlin Larson and wife, Beverly of Boyd and Dr. Harvard Larson and wife, Gretchen of Denver, Colorado; ten grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. Preceding Christine in death were her husband, Harvard in 1975; one granddaughter, Dana Renee Larson; her parents; and all seven of her brothers and sisters.
