Christian O. Iverson was born March 9, 1875, in Lisbon Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. He was the son of the late Ole and Johanna (Rognstad) Iverson. He was confirmed May 4, 1890, at Clarkfield, Minnesota, by Rev. Carl J. Moen. He together with his brother, Olaf, farmed the homestead until in 1941 when they both moved to Boyd, Minnesota. He made his home with the Olaf Iverson family until in 1955 when it was found necessary for him to be cared for at the Erland Rest Home at Renville, Minnesota, where he resided until July 31, 1959, where he suffered a stroke and was moved to the Granite Falls Hospital. He passed away August 4, 1959, at the age of 84 years, four months and 25 days. His parents, three brothers, Iver, Halvor and Olaf, and a sister have preceded him in death. He leaves to mourn his passing one sister, Mrs. Emma Brovold of Granite Falls, and a brother, Anton, of Roslyn, South Dakota, besides 14 nieces and nephews. IN MEMORY OF CHRISTIAN O.
