Chester Conrad Wilson was born March 30, 1914, in Minnesota to Clarence O. and Tilda Wilson. He was baptized and confirmed in the Bergen Lutheran Church. He served in the U.S. Army from 1941 to 1945 overseas in the European theater. In September of 1949, he married Lorraine Dotseth of Clarkfield, Minnesota. After leaving Minnesota, Chester worked in Ohio and then in Hermosa Beach, California, in the Grocery Business until his retirement when he moved to Grants Pass, Oregon. Chester passed away Monday, February 7, 1983, at his home in Grants Pass. He is survived by his brother, Arnold of Grants Pass, sisters: Myrtle Dahl of Fargo, North Dakota, Pearl O'Neill of Carlsbad, California, Thema Volstad of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Ann Frederick of Fairborn, Ohio; one sister-in-law, Thelma Wilson of Granite Falls; and many nieces and nephews. Chester is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lorraine, one brother, Kenneth and one sister, Alva Lynne. IN MEMORY OF CHESTER C.
