Charles A. Pratt was born February 16, 1910 in rural Boyd, Minnesota to parents Edwin and Christina (Waltz) Pratt. He received his Elementary Education in District #30 in Lac qui Parle County. He farmed in the early 1940's and then worked at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming for 17 years. He retired in Boyd, MN and during the later years he moved to Dawson. Charles passed away at the Clarkfield Care Center on Sunday, November 26, 1995 at the age of 85 years, 9 months and 11 days. He is survived by one sister, Lattie Hennen of Milaca, MN; two sisters-in-law: Esther and Gladys Pratt; and nine nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Ulysses, Albert, Ralph, Oliver and sister Nettie Oman. Blessed be his memory.
