Obituary

Charlene VeAne (Doose) Dixon (May 18, 1955 ~ January 9, 2012) Charlene VeAne Doose Dixon was born on May 18, 1955, in Montevideo, Minnesota, to parents Charles and Ruby (Agre) Doose. She was the second of five children. She attended and graduated from Dawson-Boyd High School. Charlene lived in Shell Lake, Wisconsin, most of her life. She and her husband operated a Carpet Cleaning Service and she also was an EMT. She battled MS for many years and this left her unable to work. She was a wonderful neighbor and friend to many. She was a "bubbly" person and extended a hand to anyone who was in need. Though she did not have any children of her own, her apartment was filled with toys for the children in her neighborhood. She enjoyed candle making and going to flea markets, but her greatest enjoyment was a good discussion with friends. Charlene passed away at her home in Shell Lake on Monday, January 9, 2012, at the age of 56 years, 7 months and 22 days. She is survived by her siblings: Daniel (Judy) Doose of Vernon, Texas, Teri (Arlyn) Shelstad of Montevideo, Minnesota, Donald Doose of Montevideo, Minnesota, and Darwin (Teresa) Doose of Buffalo, Minnesota. Also surviving are aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles (2007) and Ruby (1991) Doose. Blessed be her memory.
