Cecelia Arletta Hartfiel was born November 10, 1909, in Tyro Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, the daughter of Adolph and Emma (Eckhardt) Hartfiel. She passed away on January 14, 1967, at the Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital. Prior to her illness, she lived in St. Paul where she was employed at the Internal Revenue office as income tax reviewer. The past year she made her home with sisters and brothers in the Boyd community. Preceding her in death were her parents, sisters: Minnie, Elsie, and Alma (Mrs. Fred Just); and brother, Leo. She leaves to mourn her departure the following brothers and sisters: Clara (Mrs. Carl Just) of Pennock, Minnesota, Emma (Mrs. Hugo Roeske) of Omaha, Nebraska, Wilhelm F. and Adolph Hartfiel of Clarkfield, Minnesota, Viola Decker of Cumberland, Wisconsin, Rosella (Mrs. Paul Just) and Adeline (Mrs. Arthur Sommerfeld) both of Boyd, Minnesota; a number of nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
