Carl E. Weber was born in Portage, Wisconsin, on September 1, 1886, in the county of Columbia, to the parents, Emil E. and Wilhelmina (Ebert) Weber. Most of his life was spent farming in the Clarkfield, Minnesota vicinity. He also served as village officer for Clarkfield for a number of years. On February 11, 1925, he was united in marriage to Caroline Feist of Clarkfield. Four children were born to this union: Carl, Jr., Rose, Phyllis and Betty. Mr. Weber passed away on August 25, 1966, at Elgin, Illinois, having reached the age of 79 years. He is survived by his widow, Caroline Feist Weber; son, Carl. Jr. of St. Paul; three daughters: Rose (Mrs. Kenneth Salteness) of Federal Way, Washington, Phyllis (Mrs. Richard S. Blakeman) of Elgin, Illinois, and Betty (Mrs. Dale Agre) of Hastings, Minnesota; 17 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Hilda Reilly of Portage, Wisconsin; and a niece, Mrs. Dale Theroux of Medinah, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mabel; a brother, Edward; and one brother in infancy. He was a devoted husband and a very loving father, who enjoyed his family very much. His pleasant disposition and sense of humor were prevalent wherever he went. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. In Memory Of Carl E.
