Carl Milford Anderson was born February 17, 1912, to Martin and Charlotte (Albin) Anderson in Normania Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. He farmed with his parents until he entered the service in 1942. After serving four years, he farmed with his brother, also working in the drying plant in Clarkfield and with Kermit Gullickson doing carpenter work until his health failed a year ago. He passed away January 4, 1977, at Hanley Falls, Minnesota, at the age of 64. He is survived by one brother Elmer; five sisters: Esther Hardel, Marion Sheveland, Julia Toner, all of Hanley Falls, Helen Gilbertson of Boyd and Irma Moxner of Cottonwood. He was preceded in death by his parents.
