Obituary

Carl Axel Kuno was born October 26, 1888, the son of Carl Oscar Kuno and Carolina Charlotte (Hildur) Kuno of Cadillac, Michigan. It was there he spent his boyhood days. In 1911 the family moved to Wakefield, Nebraska, where they farmed for a number of years. In 1917, Mr. Kuno was called upon to serve in the armed forces overseas. In 1921, he was united in marriage to Nora Julia Kaupang and lived together on a farm near Clarkfield where he remained until his death, December 2, 1956, at the age of 68 years, one month and six days. His mother and father, one brother and one sister preceded him in death. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Mrs. Nora Kuno of Clarkfield; four children: Olive (Mrs. Floyd Gudmundson) of Clarkfield, Irene (Mrs. Arnold Lohr) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Mavis (Mrs. Henry Weber) of Redwood Falls, Minnesota, and Charles of Watertown, South Dakota. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren; three brothers: John and Albin of Montevideo, Minnesota, and David of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and a host of relatives and friends. Blessed be the memory of a wonderful husband and a faithful father. IN MEMORY OF CARL A.
