Carl Johan Kittelson was born December 6, 1881, in Sandnes Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, the son of Ole Kittelson and Leva (Olson) Kittelson. He passed away January 10, 1953, at his Hanley Falls, Minnesota home, at the age of 71 years. Survivors include sisters, Amelia Lee and Lorinda Svenungson, and brother, Oscar Kittelson.
