Carl John Kise was born October 24, 1876, Friendship Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, the son of Hans O. Kise and Ingeborg Andrea Loite Kise. He passed away August 25, 1954, at his Hanley Falls, Minnesota, home, at the age of 77 years. Survivors include his wife, Anna (Nymoen) Kise, and daughters, Gladys and Myrtle.
