Carl Oscar Anderson, 95, of Granite Falls, Minnesota, died October 21, 1986, at the Granite Falls Manor. Services for Carl Oscar Anderson were held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 24, 1986, at the Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church of Hanley Falls, Minnesota, with Pastor Larry Olson officiating. The organist was Zee Anne Reishus and soloist was Mavis Ellingson. Casket Bearers were John and Jay Lee, David, Gary and Ron Olson, and Scott Zwack. Final Resting Place is the East Yellow Medicine Lutheran Cemetery of Hanley Falls, Minnesota. Carl was born January 13, 1891, to Anders and Anna Anderson in Skone, Sweden. He immigrated to the United States in 1912 and worked in the Hazel Run/Hanley Falls area for a short time. He worked for several years in Montana and Minnesota for the railroad, retiring in 1956. He entered the Granite Falls Manor in 1981. He is survived by two nieces, Mrs. Esther Olson and Mrs. Lena Bestland both of Hanley Falls and several great nephews and nieces.
