Bruce A. Anderson, 36, of Clarkfield, Minnesota, died Monday, January 23, 1989, as a result of a car accident. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 1989 at Bergen Lutheran Church with Pastor David E. Knorr officiating. Music was provided by organist Janet Gabrielson and soloist Debbie Landmark. Casket Bearers were Wayne Klosterboer, Mickey and Pat McCoy, Arnie Smiens, Dennis and Duane Tongen. Burial was in the Bergen Lutheran Church Cemetery, Stony Run Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. Bruce A. Anderson son of Marcella and the late Menferd Anderson of Lisbon Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, was born December 20, 1952, at Clarkfield, Minnesota. He was baptized June 18, 1953, and confirmed in the Lutheran faith on May 2, 1967, at Bergen Lutheran Church. He was raised and attended school in Clarkfield, graduating in 1970. He was a member of Bergen Lutheran Church. He farmed and has lived in this area his entire life. He enjoyed working on and driving his old Corvette automobile. Bruce is survived by his daughter, Amber Jean, and his mother, Marcella all of Clarkfield, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
