Brent Allen Berg, 21, of Willmar, Minnesota, died June 7, 1988, as the result of a traffic accident near Willmar. He was born June 25, 1967, and was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Art Berg at the age of seven months. Pastor Engelstad baptized him at Israel Lutheran Church. He was confirmed at Calvary Lutheran of Willmar and attended schools in Willmar. He worked at the Red Owl grocery in Willmar while attending school. Brent was a member of the Army National Guard. He worked at the Northwest Packaging Co. of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Services were held Saturday, June 11, 1988, 11:00 a.m., at the Clarkfield Lutheran Church, Clarkfield, Minnesota, with Pastor John Spencer officiating. Karen Donner was the organist. The soloist was Ross Riecke. Casket Bearers were Arden Berg, Dale Berg, Kenneth Berg, Stanley Berg, Bradley Denny and Eugene Werner. Burial was at Israel Lutheran Cemetery, Swede Prairie Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. He is survived by parents Art and Arda Berg of Willmar, formerly of Clarkfield; sister Mrs. Susan O'Connor of Crystal, Minnesota; brother Lynn of Minneapolis; and friend Lori Nelson of Minneapolis.
