Blenda Sophia Swenson Ohlson passed away at the Clarkfield Hospital March 3, 1975, at the age of 96 years. She was born in Ogden, Iowa, to Fredrick and Maria Swenson. On December 31, 1913, she married Fred G. Ohlson in DeKalb, Illinois. To this union one son, Raymond, was born. In 1915 they moved to the Hazel Run communnity and settled on the Borger Johnson farm where they farmed until the death of Fred in 1951. She then lived alone until she was 90 years old. She was then under care of the Williamsons and Care Center. She leaves to mourn her son Raymond and his wife, Audrey; grandchildren: Donna Ohlson Hartfiel and husband Wendell, LeRoy Ohlson and wife Brenda; five great grandchildren: Loren, Lane and Lance Hartfiel and Taunja and Stacy Ohlson.
