Beverly Marlene Anderson was born August 17, 1931, in Montevideo, Minnesota to Bennie and Myrtle (Anderson) Anderson of Granite Falls, Minnesota. She was baptized at Wegdahl Lutheran Church and confirmed at Saron Lutheran Church. She attended rural school and graduated from high school in Montevideo, Minnesota. Beverly was united in marriage to Marlin Larson on August 29, 1954, at Saron Lutheran Church. Except for living a few months in Montevideo, they have farmed in the Boyd, Minnesota, community all their married life. Born to this couple were four children, Timothy, who with his wife, Connie and three children, Benjamin, Erin, and Ethan, live in Shepherd, Montana, Philip, who with his wife, Donna and three children, Lindsay, Eleeya, and Meredith, live in Princeton, Minnesota, Janell, who with her husband, John Ayers, live in Champlin, Minnesota, and Sara, who lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Beverly was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Boyd, Minnesota. She taught Sunday School for several years as well as participating in WELCA. Beverly passed away on October 24, 1991, at the age of 60, in the Rice Memorial Hospital, Willmar, Minnesota. Beverly is survived by her husband, four children, and six grandchildren. Also three brothers, John Anderson of Spicer, Minnesota, Harold Peter Anderson of Rockwell City, Iowa, and James Anderson of Fredricksburg, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Bruce Anderson. From those of us who call her wife, mother, grandmother, relative, or friend, we honor the memory of an extraordinary woman and thank God we know she is now in heaven with Jesus.
