Bert Lee was born July 7, 1895, at Fister, Stravanger, Norway to parents Olai and Bertha (Thompson) Lee. He was baptized in August of that same year and was confirmed in September, 1909 at Fister Kirche, Norway. Bert came to America and joined Clarkfield Lutheran Church of Clarkfield, Minnesota in 1921. He farmed in the Clarkfield area for many years until he moved to Clarkfield where he worked until retirement. Bert passed away November 5, 1986, at the Clarkfield Care Center at the age of 91 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Oliver; a sister, Bertha; also two brothers who remained in Norway. Blessed be his memory.
