Services for Bergitta Amalia Knudson, 90, of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, and formerly of Cottonwood, Minnesota, were held Wednesday, December 10, 1986, 10:30 a.m., at Christ Lutheran Church in Cottonwood, Minnesota. Final Resting Place is Christ Lutheran Church Cemetery, Cottonwood, Minnesota. She was born October 7, 1896, in Cottonwood to Olaus and Kirstina Grande. She grew up in the Cottonwood area and attended area schools. On December 28, 1918, she married Theodore Knudson in Cottonwood. They farmed in that area many years. In 1964 her husband died and she moved to Cottonwood in 1967. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Cottonwood and belonged to the American Lutheran Church Women. She moved to Stevens Point in 1979 to live with her daughter, Mrs. Geneva Wunderlich. She entered the River Pines Living Center last month. Survivors include daughters, Geneva Wunderlich of Stevens Point and Evangeline (Mrs. Alan) Kraft of Brewster, Minnesota; son, Norman of Cottonwood; 22 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
