Berenice I. Orres was born November 18, 1909 in rural Clarkfield to Oliver and Mary Orres. She was baptized at the Clarkfield Lutheran Church. At an early age she moved with her family to Gardner, ND where she attended school and graduated from High School. She was confirmed at the Nora Lutheran Church in Gardner, ND. In 1942 she moved to California and was employed by Consolidated Air Craft all during World War II. Later she was employed by Sunshine Bakeries. In 1973 she retired and returned to Clarkfield to make her home. When her health failed, she entered the Care Center where she passed away. Survivors are one sister: Inez Berg, one sister-in-law: Harriet Orres of Clarkfield, several nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: George and Lawrence of Clarkfield, Raymond of Edgerton, MN;.and one sister, Evelyn Allison of Park Rapids, MN. Blessed be her memory.
