Bennie O. Dyrdahl, 93, of Clarkfield, Minnesota, died Tuesday, November 5, 1985, at the Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital, Montevideo, Minnesota. He had been hospitalized on Wednesday with a fractured hip. Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 8, 1985, at the Lynner Funeral Home Chapel, Clarkfield, Minnesota, with Pastor William Klavetter officiating. Vocal Music was by Merrill P. Womack. Casket Bearers were Clarence Berg, Owen Dotseth, Allen and Randy Dyrdahl, Julian Foss and Greg Rogge. Final Resting Place is the Bethleham Cemetery in Normania Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. He was born March 8, 1892 to Osmund and Jorund (Olson) Dyrdahl in Hazel Run Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. He spent most of his life farming and working for others and moved to Clarkfield with his two sisters in October, 1973. He became a resident of the Clarkfield Care Center on February 1, 1982. He is survived by sisters Anne and Hilda Dyrdahl of Clarkfield; brothers Clifford of Glenwood, Minnesota, and Ordel of the Clarkfield Care Center; and his nephew, Dennis Dyrdahl and family.
