Beatrice L. (Skyora) Heald July 19, 1912 ~ October 28, 2013 Beatrice L. Heald was born July 19, 1912, at Peever, South Dakota, to parents John and Lydia (Eastman) Skyora. She was baptized on March 14, 1945, at the Methodist Church in Browns Valley, Minnesota. Beatrice graduated from high school and went on to attend the Northern State College in Aberdeen, South Dakota, earning a BA and MA in Education. She was a teacher for over 40 years. Beatrice was united in marriage to Dewey L. Heald on December 23, 1934, in the Presbyterian Church at Sisseton, South Dakota. Dewey and Beatrice were blessed with three sons; Lee, Wayne and Richard. Beatrice enjoyed reading, gardening (especially flowers), and spending as much time with her family as she possibly could. Beatrice passed away on Monday, October 28, 2013, at the Clarkfield Care Center at the age of 101 years, 3 months and 9 days. Beatrice is survived by her son, Richard (Shirley) Heald of Clarkfield, Minnesota; daughters-in-law: Colletta Heald of Morrow, Georgia, and Tina Heald of McDonough, Georgia; eight grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Dewey; sons, Lee and Wayne; brother, LeRoy Skyora; sisters: Adalin Ziemer, Violet Mussetter, Geneva Ziemer, Rosella Swayze; and grandson, Glenn Heald.
