Obituary

Ava Mae Kleppe, the daughter of John and Katherine (Drake) Albertson, was born March 7, 1897, in Clairandis, Iowa. She was confirmed March 31, 1940 by H.J. Madland at Silo Lutheran Church, Cottonwood, Minnesota. She lived in Iowa and Tacoma, Washington, with her parents, moving to Cottonwood, Minnesota, in 1913. She married Rasmes Kleppe on June 22, 1915, by Rev. M. Ramstad at Cottonwood. She resided in Cottonwood until the time of her death. She entered Community Memorial Hospital, Clarkfield, Minnesota, August 28, 1979, and passed away September 24, 1979, at 9:00 a.m. She is survived by two daughters: Reba, Mrs. Marvin Bahn of Wood Lake, Minnesota, and Neva, Mrs. Rolland Brendsel of Baltis, South Dakota; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one brother Merle Albertson.
