Louise Hagren, 97, of Faribault, Minnesota, and formerly of Clarkfield, Minnesota, died on Wednesday, July 19, 1989 in Pleasant Manor Nursing Home, Faribault. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 22, 1989, in Clarkfield Lutheran Church with the Rev. Arthur Feroe officiating. Organist was Karen Donner and soloist Pastor John T. Christiansen. Pallbearers were Lyle Olson, John and James Opheim, Alton and George Rysdahl and Merlyn Wallen. Interment was in Clarkfield Lutheran Church Cemetery, Clarkfield, Minnesota. Visitation was held in the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, Minnesota, on Friday, July 21, 1989, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and in the Clarkfield Lutheran Church one hour prior to services on Saturday, July 22, 1989. Astrid Louise Hagren, the daughter of Anders and Marie Eide Rysdahl, was born on April 23, 1892, in rural Clarkfield. She married Alfred J. Hagren on June 7, 1923. He preceded her in death on July 22, 1984. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Marian) Spitzack of Faribault; three grandchildren, Kathy White, Carole Spitzack and Nancy Spitzack; and one great grandchild, Nicholas White. She was preceded in death by a son, Alvin in 1943; grandson, David Spitzack; sisters, Mabel Wallen and Mathilda Rysdahl; and brothers Carl and Lewis Rysdahl.
