Obituary

Arthur Oliver Teig, son of Ole and Serena (Johnson) Teig was born September 20, 1894, at Radcliffe, Iowa. He was confirmed by Rev. O.M.O. Wee on May 2, 1909, at the Lutheran Church in Jackson County, Minnesota. Arthur was educated at Lakefield, Minnesota and served in the U.S. Navy from June 4, 1917 until March 3, 1921. He and Marie Haaland were united in marriage on September 27, 1931, at Colorado Springs, Colorado. Arthur worked in Colorado for many years and later farmed in Minnesota, the last place being near Boyd, Minnesota. In 1969 he retired from farming and moved into the town of Boyd. In 1982 Art entered the Clarkfield Care Center, Clarkfield, Minnesota, where on September 17, 1987, he passed away. Arthur is survived by his wife, Marie of Clarkfield, a sister, Mabel Sydness of Lakefield, Minnesota and many nieces and nephews.
