Arthur George Radunz was born on December 16, 1916, at Granite Falls, Minnesota, to parents Christ and Alvina (Jaspe) Radunz. He grew up in rural Granite Falls and attended school in Granite Falls. Arthur married Hazel Barber on May 1, 1949. They were the parents of four children: son Paul, and daughters: Jane, Anna, and Carrie. They lived near Granite Falls where they farmed until 1975. In 1978, he moved to Granite Falls. Arthur married Dorothy Adams in 1982. Arthur had been residing at the Clarkfield Care Center, which had been his home since 1996. He passed away on Friday, May 9, 2003, at the Care Center at the age of 86 years, 4 months, and 23 days. He is survived by son Paul (and Bev) Radunz of Maynard, Minnesota; daughters: Jane (and Bill) Flanagan of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Anna (and Kallyn) Larsen of Renville, Minnesota, and Carrie Radunz (and special friend Greg Lanoue) of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers (one in infancy); wife Hazel in 1979; and wife Dorothy in 1993.
