Arthur C. Johnston was born October 26, 1886, in Iowa, the son of Alonzo Johnston and Margaret (VanAuken) Johnston. On October 29, 1907, he married Catherine Agnes Taylor. In 1916 they moved to Canby, Minnesota, and in 1922 to Boyd, Minnesota. He was employed at the Creamery Produce in Clarkfield for approximately twelve years. Mr. and Mrs. Johnston have been residents of Boyd, Minnesota, for over 35 years. He passed away March 9, 1959, at his Boyd home, at the age of 72 years. He is survived by his wife, Agnes.
