Arthur Harland Johnson was born August 25, 1904, in Friendship Township of Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. His parents were John and Emma (Satre) Johnson. Most of his life was spent on the farm where he lived at the time of his death. He was baptized and confirmed in the Clarkfield Lutheran Church of which he was a lifetime member and attended rural school and high school in Clarkfield. Mr. Johnson passed away at his farm home in Lisbon Township, Yellow Medicine County, at the age of 71 years. He is survived by one aunt, Mrs. Julia Anderson, several cousins and other relatives.
