Arthur G. Johnson passed away on Friday, September 14, 1990, at the Clarkfield Care Center, Clarkfield, Minnesota, at the age of 91. Arthur was born June 2, 1893, in Hazel Run Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, to Frank and Wilhelmina (Gustafson) Johnson. He was baptized and confirmed at the Hazel Run Lutheran Church of Hazel Run, Minnesota. Art attended school at the Roadside country school and helped out on the family farm. He enjoyed fishing and trapping and also fixed old cars. Surviving Art are his Sister-in Law, Esther Johnson of Granite Falls, Minnesota; and two nephews, Willis Johnson of Granite Falls and Floyd Johnson of Fridley, Minnesota. Art was preceded in death by his parents; three Brothers, John, Mandus and William; and one Sister, Effie Bertrum.
