Obituary

Arnold Wilford Olson was born at Cottonwood, Minnesota, on February 9, 1899, the son of John and Martha (Stevens) Olson. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church in Cottonwood by Rev. Romstad. Arnold, who was a machinist for many years, had been failing in health for some time. In the early hours of the morning of August 11, 1962, he passed from this life from a heart attack, at the Granite Falls Hospital, Granite Falls, Minnesota. He was 63 years of age. His parents preceded him in death as did a brother, Chester and an infant sister, Mabel. Surviving are two brothers: Gale Olson of Frederic, Wisconsin, and Wallace Olson of Granite Falls; four sisters: Mrs. Mabel Benson and Mildred (Mrs. Oren Fjeldstad) of Minneapolis, Mrs. Paul Ackley of Blairsburg, Iowa, and Pearl (Mrs. Arthur Knudson) of Granite Falls.
