Funeral Services were held August 22, 1977 for Arnold Brusven, 82, the son of Anton O. and Maria (Storsveen) Brusven. He was born December 27, 1894, and was baptized and confirmed in the Norwegian language on June 9, 1909. Mr. Brusven was a lifelong member of St. Lucas Lutheran Church as well as a lifelong farmer in Normania Township. He passed away at Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on August 18 of a chronic heart ailment. He was married to Johanna Hanson at Preecevill, Sask., Canada, on September 2, 1921. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Johanna, one daughter, June Weaver of Canby, Minnesota; four sons: Anton of Clarkfield, Minnesota, and Milo, Ernest and Sam of Cottonwood, Minnesota; 20 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, one brother and two sisters.
