Obituary

Arlen (Tootie) Dean Loose, 55, died April 14, 1992, at the Johnson Memorial Hospital in Dawson, Minnesota, of a heart attack. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 1992, at Zion Lutheran Church in Tyro Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, with Pastor Travis J. Schmidt officiating. The organist was Mrs. Bill Jahn and vocal music was by Ross Riecke and Hunter Fennell. Casket bearers were Don Hutt, Alfred Jessen, Wesley Thompson, James Witt, Delbert Zietlow, and Ordell Zietlow. Burial was in the Church cemetery. Arlen was born May 13, 1936 in Clarkfield, Minnesota, to Leonard and Hulda (Zietlow) Loose. He was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Tyro Township. He attended school in Clarkfield. Arlen married Beverly Wiegers on February 9, 1957. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his ten grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Beverly; two daughters, Karla Walters and her husband Steve, and Elaine Coubal and her husband Joey; son, James and his wife Tammy; ten grandchildren, Kristel, Kelly, and Dayna Walters, Steven, Alisha, Andy, and Joey Coubal, and Kjersti, Brittany, and Samarah Loose; three brothers, Vernon and his wife Beverly, Donald, and Dennis; one sister, Donna Mae Boraas and her husband Jim; aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
