Ardell James Anderson, 78, formerly of Hanley Falls, Minnesota, passed away at the Willmar Medical Center of Willmar, Minnesota, on Monday, November 14, 1988. Funeral services for Ardell Anderson were held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 1988, from the Lynner Funeral Home Chapel of Clarkfield, Minnesota, with Pastor Alvin G. Lewis officiating. Merrill P. Womack was the soloist. Serving as Casket Bearers were Dale, David, Gordon and Harold Anderson, Clayton Kiefer and Donald Wilkening. Burial was in the East Yellow Medicine Lutheran Cemetery of Hanley Falls, Minnesota. Ardell was born in Hanley Falls on June 7, 1910, to Alfred and Sophie (Enger) Anderson. He was baptized and confirmed at the Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church of Hanley Falls, and attended school in Hanley Falls. In 1941 he moved to Lake Lillian and began working in farm silo construction with Hanson Silo Company. Ardell became a resident of the Willmar Health Care Center in 1984 where he lived until his death. He is survived by his sisters-in-law, Mrs. Thelma Anderson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Mrs. Mildred Anderson of Hanley Falls, and many nieces and nephews.
