Obituary

Anton Winson passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 10, 1961, at his room in the Hilden apartment. Mr. Winson had been well until an attack of influenza hospitalized him about ten days ago. He had reached the age of 77 years. Anton Winson was born April 24, 1883, on the Winson farm now the Stenson property. His parents were Lars and Anna (Larson) Winson. He was one of a family of ten children. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Sophia Muxter of Montevideo and a brother, John of Minneapolis. Preceding him in death were his parents and brothers: Lars and Wins; sisters: Mrs. Lena Peterson, Mrs. Andrew Lee, Mrs. Jacob Nelson, Mrs. Hans Oakland and Olena; and one brother in infancy. Anton was baptized and confirmed in Camp Release congregation. Later, when he moved to Clarkfield after his parents' death, he attended the Gospel Tabernacle.
