Ansgar John Youngmark was born on September 16, 1880, at Carver, Minnesota, the son of Andrew and Sophie (Olander) Youngmark. He was baptized at New Sweden, Minnesota, and a few years later he moved with his parents to Clarkfield, Minnesota. He was confirmed at Swede Home Lutheran Church by Rev. B.F. Bengtson. He was united in marrige to Ellen Nelson, who survives him, along with three children: Stella (Mrs. Earl Larson) of Montevideo, Minnesota, Douglas of St. Cloud, Minnesota, and Linne of Montevideo, Minnesota; and thirteen grandchildren. After their marriage they resided on a farm near Clarkfield for several years and later moved to a farm near Montevideo. The past ten years they have made their home in Minneapolis. Mr. Youngmark passed away July 1, 1961, at General Hospital, Minneapolis, Minnesota, at the age of 80 years. Ansgar is also survived by five sisters: Mrs. Hulda Hulteen of St. Cloud, Minnesota, Esther Youngmark of Minneapolis, Mrs. Emil Skaug of Clarkfield, Mrs. Hannah Quale of Seattle, Washington, and Mrs. Edgar Hagen of Kenosha, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Mrs. R.H. McGilvra and Mrs. Ellen Olson; two brothers: Levi and Adin. IN MEMORY OF ANSGAR J.
