Annie Cornelia Morstad was born on April 29, 1905, the daughter of Erick and Bertha (Tongen) Morstad, in Lisbon Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed at the Bergen Lutheran Church of Stony Run Township, Yellow Medicine County. In 1931, she was united in marriage to Homer Hanson. Two sons were born to this union, Milton (Duby) and Homer Allyn (Jim). The family farmed near Boyd. Mrs. Hanson's health had failed the past few months. She suffered a heart attack on January 15, 1963, and was taken to the Clarkfield Community Hospital, where on January 23, 1963, she passed away at the age of 57 years. Left to mourn her departure are her husband, Homer; her sons, Milton and Homer Allyn; two brothers, Gran and Eddie; and one sister, Mrs. Peter Neraasen. IN MEMORY OF MRS.
