Annie Christine Larson, the daughter of Andrew and Lizzie (Frederickson) Dotseth, was born December 6, 1880, in Normania Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, near Clarkfield. She was baptized January 12, 1881, at Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church in Hanley Falls, Minnesota, by Rev. Knut Thorstenson and confirmed at Spring Creek Lutheran Church at Clarkfield before Rev. J.S. Strand. She spent her youth on the family farm south of Clarkfield and on July 26, 1903, was united in marriage to Theodore M. Larson of Clarkfield at the Spring Creek Lutheran Church by Rev. J.S. Strand. The couple lived at Jasper, Minnesota, for several years where the union was blessed with a son, Wallace. Upon their return to Clarkfield, they were engaged in farming south of Clarkfield. During the past year, Annie's health had been failing. She passed away on March 10, 1966, at the age of 85 years, at the Granite Falls Hospital, where she had been a patient since the first of the year. She was preceded in death by her three brothers: Ole Christian, Alfred and Ole Dotseth, and three sisters: Nettie Dotseth Hanson, Annie Dotseth Larson, Hilda Dotseth Johnson. She is survived by her son, Wallace, of Clarkfield and a sister, Mrs. Mamie Knox of Granite Falls, Minnesota. IN MEMORY OF MRS. ANNIE C.
