Obituary

Annie Berg was born January 28, 1900, to Bert and Ellen (Otterness) Berg in the Hazel Run Township of Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed into the Christian faith at the Bergen Lutheran Church. At the age of ten years, Annie became a victim of polio which left her confined to a wheel chair the rest of her life. The last 31 years of her life she made her home with her sister, Edna Nelson in Clarkfield. Annie passed away February 21, 1976, at the University Hospital in Minneapolis at the age of 76 years after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and two sisters. Survivors include one brother, Stewart of Granite Falls; five sisters: Randie (Mrs. William Nelson), Edna (Mrs. Arnold Nelson), both of Clarkfield, Clara (Mrs. Leo McMahon) of Little Falls, Minnesota, Frances (Mrs. Arnold Mork) of Minneapolis, and Julia (Mrs. Joel Stolen) of Dawson; 21 nieces and nephews; and several grand nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by many relatives and friends. Blessed be her memory.
